IT Call Coordinator

Salary: Up to 43K DOE
The McIntyre IT Division is seeking an IT Call Coordinator for a contract to hire role with a well-known company in Shelton, CT. The ideal candidate will have excellent phone skills and experience working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Fielding calls from service technicians and clients, and entering each issue into the ticketing system
- Logging incoming calls
- Assigning field service technicians
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of IT experience
- Must be able to handle excessive call volume
Support Specialist I
Company: Merchandiser Stratford, CT
Type: Contract to hire
Salary: Up to 45K DOE
The McIntyre IT Division is seeking a support specialist for a company in the New Haven, CT area. The position will require end-user technical issues for all electronic technology, including computer platforms, phone, copiers, mobile devices and any other miscellaneous hardware. In addition, the System Support Specialist 1 provides administrative support to the IT team with department documentation, licenses, and system inventory.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support to end users on a variety of level 1 issues, questions or problems.
- Respond promptly to end-user telephone calls, email and team member requests for technical support.
- Properly triage and appropriately escalate issues to vendors and various technical groups.
- Assist in the installation, maintenance and general support of company systems.
- Document, track and monitor problems to ensure a timely and complete resolution.
- Maintain records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties and service agreements, as well as inventories for companies hardware and software.
- Administer check-in and check-out of company assets, including reservations.
- Maintain documentation pertaining to programming, systems operations and user documentation.
- Be courteous and knowledgeable at all times.
- Adhere to departmental and company IT standards.
- Any other duties assigned by Manager.
Education and/or Experience
College degree in MIS or related field and at least 1-2 years of related experience and/or training
Basic knowledge of information technology processing systems, concepts and methodologies
